Depth Perception explores the deep, rich sounds of geomungo and cello, as well as the range of colors produced by each. The instruments intertwine in a mélange of tones and timbres, snaking through exchanged lines so that cello and geomungo sometimes become indistinguishable. The music is energetically charged, with funky grooves, plucky rhythms and percussive passages alternating throughout a back-and-forth dialogue. Following an initial climax, a mysterious middle section provides a brief period of calm, before the music recharges in a sprint to the end.
